This section is any song I make that is made primarily with real instruments.
I am going to make all these downloadable as well, incase you would like to have them on your comp.  Simply right click where it says "here" and download the file.

Soco Amaretto Lime ft. Dillon Jenkins (Brand New):

Another Brand New cover.  Stephen was telling me he liked a cover I did of this song from ages ago, I told him I am sure it is embarrassing and that I would make him a new one.  This is what happened.  In short, my vocals are a little rough, Dillon did the guitar solo, I played everything else.  The "concept" was to have it like the original up unti the first chorus.

Cord Wind:

A jam song I came up with the progression, and in 2 hours I had this.  I am playing everything on this, drums, bass, guitars, almost everything was done in a single take.  The drums are two separate takes split at the point where it goes heavy if you know what I mean.  The solo is a first take improv wonder, meaning its riddled with mistakes and parts that just do not work, and the wah + fuzz combo makes the ears hurt at some parts, but it's just an idea, so perfection isn't needed right?

Play Crack the Sky (Brand New):

A cover I did one night up at the studio.  I got inspired and just plugged in my acoustic and hit record and played it live.  Then I add a second guitar over it to add a little depth, not perfect, but I like, probably my favorite Brand New song.

MI Mashup:

So this is one of my songs, "believe," that I recorded the guitar and drum track for while I was in LA, then came home and recorded vocals, and Jessie Goergen sang on it as well.  But while I was down there I had Grant Barnum, and Tobin Antpusat record some solos over the whole thing, just to have a good time.  Let me preface this by saying that grant did his in one take for the whole song, only hearing it that time.  I told him the chords of the song and hit record.  Not saying that his is bad because it rocks, but just to let you know how much of a badass he is.  Now Tobin I think went through it twice, so i chopped and screwed both of their solos and tried to make them fit together as best as possible.  There is also a solo from me at the very end.  So enjoy this little mashup from MI.

Interlude:

Alright I did this one in about an hour, well it took me like another hour to mix it how I wanted, but its just a little short guy.  I was doing some jamming and just about done, when I accidentally played the first chord to this and thought it sound cool and went from there.  I tried to make it a little creepy, and Jeff is always telling to make it quiet, then loud, so I did.  Its not perfect, I only had one take on everything, but that is what demos are for right, just to see how it sounds, one day I will rerecord everything.  Best heard through head phones, or good speakers, and loud of course, just my opinion! Enjoy!

I am playing everything on this, and every sound is guitar or bass.  The drums are computer drums, but head on over to the Jake & Sam Jams page for a version with Sam playing drums.
