Hi,
Some minor changes, changed Jessie's page to the " Borderline" page, added the Borderline Demo, I think all the songs are already on here, but there are in a neat little package here. I have some stuff recorded that needs to be put up, but I think it needs just a bit more tweaking before its ready, so check back in a few months and it should be up on here.

Some major additions to the site, along with some changes. I made the Music section songs only I made, and moved everything else into the Projects section. Furthermore I broke down the Music section into two categories: Real Instrument & Electronic.
As for the additions, here is the count:
The newer stuff will be above the older stuff on each section.
I think that is it, Ryan, Sam, and I will be playing with Jessie at her Cat Cab at Linfield College in Mcminnville OR, Thursday April 7th, be there if you can. Jessie, Ryan, and I just wrote a new song while we were practicing for this said Cat Cab, hopefully we can record it soon. Other than that, not to much happening, take it easy.

Soooo, back to the old site. The new site looked cool, but I like the simplicity of this one, and its familiar. So it is going to stay.
Updated a few things, added some new stuff, the usual. New additions include two new songs from Jessie Georgen. Die Tonight is the newest, and Security is old, but I never put it up.
I put up Love Drunk Fool from Kayla Hamm and I, this one was up on the other site, so its not really new.
And finally Carnival the newest rap song, found here.
Sounds like lots of people are coming back to Brookings for break, so hopefully some new stuff will get done.
I just got a drum set, and have been playing as often as I can trying to get my skills better, look for real drums on songs soon. As for now the studio is a little cramped because of them, but still fully functional.
Laters,

Well, well, well. I have not updated the site for quite awhile now, but starting next week I will be uploading a lot of new music. This is what to look for, 2 songs from Jessie Georgen & I, at least one song from Kayla Hamm and I, a new rap song ft. Jessie Georgen, "Carnival," and like 3 or 4 other songs from me personally, so be on the lookout for some new stuff! I just need to finish up mixing most of them, and minor fixes here and there. Keep it Real

Alright I just added a new song that Jessie and I just recorded. It is titled "Japan" and can be found in the JJR section in the projects section. It is not quite finished yet, Ryan has to play bass on it, but I think it is pretty badass, peep it!

I just added Kayla Hamm to the projects section of the site. We have one song we recorded together and hopefully more will come. I actually went and watched her perform at her "Cat Cab" at Linnfield College, and she had me come up and play the guitar for the song I recorded for her, so that was pretty badass, and she tore it up as well, of course.
This weekend Jessie, and Ryan will be coming up and we are going to record some awesome stuff. I have like two ideas for songs right now, and then the new reggae song I just posted, here (at the bottom), LT(Ryan) will be throwing down some delicious bass on it. So I am way stoked for this weekend.
Also in case you are looking for some new bands to listen to, peep Tribal Seeds, I just saw them last week at the Hawthorne Theatre, and they rule. Also saw Indubious, and Alcyon Massive there, and they are both way legit as well.

Alright well I have slacked on trying to update this beasie, but I am going to try and be more on top of it. If you did not already see I posted a new song from "JJR"(Jessie Jake Ryan) thats what we're rolling with right now. And there is no significance to the order of names, just to clarify. Anyway the song is called "Stuck" and here can find it here in the Projects section.
Also we played at the theatre in Brookings on the 30th, that went really well, everyone had a good time. Kayla Hamm did wonderful at the beginning of the show, unfortunately Molly Vance was not able to play that night, but I know she would have rocked it hard.
Di-lon and I got a new rap song done during break and I just posted it in the Hip-Hop section, it is titled "Feels So Nice." Pretty damn funny I would like to think, we wanted to do more songs but just did not get it done.
As for upcoming things, Jessie should be coming up to the beat lab soon and hopefully we will get a new song recorded. Also I am keeping my eye out for any open mic nights or chances to play, so hopefully we will be playing some shows around here soon.
I can not think of anything else at this point, I might try and post some older stuff of mine after I go through and re-mix them to make them sound as good as possible. Anyway peep the new stuff and let me know what you think!

So, been in Brookings about a week, and Jessie, Ryan and I played at the foxes den for their christmas party. That went really well, played for about 3 and a half hours, and everyone that was there seemed to enjoy our music.
We are trying to play a show at the theatre here in town on the 30th, and I am way stoked for that. I see it being a very chill evening, and if things go right Molly Vance should be coming out to play few songs as well.
Going to try to get some recording done today, Jessie, Ryan, and I have two that need to be done, and dillon has like 3 or 4 that he wants to record, plus we are trying to get a rap going, so there is a lot of stuff happening.
Peace

Alrighty, I added a new techno song I just made called TrippyAM, you can peep it in the techno section. Kind of crazy, but thats a good thing I think.
Other than that not a whole lot going on right now, going to be recording with Molly Vance again either this weekend or monday, so that is always a good thing. A little sad the beavers lost, but it was a good game, and that is respectable. Stay tuned for more cool shit!

Its my birthday! Yay!! anyway we played at Movino in Brookings this weekend, and it went great! Lots of people showed up, and everyone seemed to have a great time, I know I did. Ryan and Jessie did awesome as always, and I must say for only having a limited number of hours of practice we did pretty well. I was most impressed with Ryan and I's jam, I did a lot better than last time I tried to solo. Also we played two new songs that we wrote. No real titles yet, well "japan" and "stuck" but those are tentative of course. Maybe during winter break we will get a chance to record them. Then we will have enough tracks to have an original demo, no covers!
It also sounds like we will be getting a chance to play another show in Brookings during christmas break, at a local bar, and maybe a show at the theatre with Sam Brown and Jason Bay, to bring trademark back!
I have one video from the show on saturday, I might post it on here, also Molly Vance came and took a bunch of pictures, so if she is nice, she will let me post some of them on here. She also got up and played her song at Movino, and she did wonderful, you can listen to the song here, not the live version, but its the song.
Lates,

Added a new techno song called "Hard Cider" to the techno section, I literally just got done making it, hopefully it is enjoyable. Also I have two songs written that need to be recorded so that should be coming soon. And I should be recording with Molly Vance again real soon, that is always a good thing.
Oh and on the saturday after thanksgiving Jessie, Ryan, Sam, and I will be playing at Movino wine bar in Brookings. We should start about 8 I would presume, so come and check that out if you are going to be in town. |

Added a new song to the rock section, titled "Interlude," this one is a short one, but a little different style. I have a few other ones still in the works, and I should be recording with Molly Vance this week, and she is simply amazing, so hopefully I will put one of her songs up here for everyone to listen to.

My god, haha, its been awhile, finally got internet at the apartment. It was somewhat of a hassle, but got it on lockdown, now apparently though the cable boxes they sent me are like uber brand new and not even in their system yet. So basically that boils down to it does not work, because nothing is easy in the city right. Oh yea in case you did not know, I moved up to Beaverton, or just Portland, same thing basically. Going pretty good, started school yesterday, going real good.
Sam Brown came over tonight for a bit, and we recorded him on his guitar with some original stuff. That guy is insane at the guitar, plays it completely backwards. Its amazing. Working on getting the beat lab set up in our loft, so I should have some new stuff, music that is, coming soon. I have two songs I am working on right now, sort of in the field of the brand new Brand New album, not a typo. Hopefully I will have a chance to get them down and write the rest of the words for them.
Alright I will try to update this thing more now that I have the means to do so.
Peace

So a few cool new things going on. Last night me and Ryan LaThorpe got together at studio and started to record bass on our demo songs. Took me awhile to figure out the recording situation, it came out decent, but I feel it still needs some work. All stemming from my end of course. Ryan killed it on the bass. After that we recorded a few jams, 4 to be exact, and I dig them, might need to turn his bass down peaks a little bit hear and there but trial and error right?
Secondly updated this beazzy of a website a little. Got a guestbook to sign, not really to important, but its an easier way to let me know what you think then emailing me.
And thirdly I have one music review under my belt, Brand New's, new album Daisy, so check that out, maybe even go get a copy if you like what I wrote. Also I am going to try to do a bunch of them, reviews that is, so keep checking back for more! |

So I just got all moved into our apartment in Portland yesterday. Pretty ballin. Today I worked on the site a little bit, added the complete "One Love EP" to the rock section, check that out and let me know what you think. Also added the final version of SuperGyro Sandwiches rap for your enjoyment, under the hip/hop section.
Also went into the guitar center down the road from where we live yesterday, and they had an SJ-200 Koa, which was pretty sick, I had a hard time putting it down. I will for sure be going back and playing it more often. |

Show Tonight
We just got done playing a show at One Love here in Brookings. This was the second time we played there, but this time we had Mr. Ryan LaThorpe on the bass. And anytime that man is involved, you know you are rocking the house. We played for probably about 2 hours maybe a little more. Overall I think it was received very well.
And getting two free pints of Newcastle is the shit, the best beer in the land! I Will let you guys know of anymore gigs/shows going on.
You can check out some videos on Facebook of us at One Love, and also at Movino wine bar.
Or Click Here to go to youtube where I posted some videos as well. |

"One Love EP"
So today Jessie & I finished up recording some demos up at my airport studio. We got 5 done and they turned out pretty damn good I must say. One of the songs is up in the " Rock" section of the music section. Also if anyone wants a copy of the demo then let me know and I will burn you one. Its not anything legit with a case or anything, but its all about the music right? |
